InNoSense – a journey of love

Sombat Permpoon Gallery, International Peace Foundation and Moragod Publishing are delighted to announce the photo exhibition “InNoSense – a journey of love” by Nick Langat.
The photo exhibition portrays a timeless journey of love through 48 countries around the world, from Argentina via Thailand to Vietnam, experienced by two young men. The photos are accompanied by poetry describing the mystery of the human soul in search of beauty and tenderness, discovering love on earth, ultimately facing death and thus reaching eternal love. The exhibition is based on the art/photo book “InNoSense – a journey of love” by Nick Langat

ABOUT
“I’ve been in the music business my whole life & only after venturing outside the industry do I realize & comes to appreciate there’ s a lot more outside & beyond music.

Looking back I also noticed I have no, I mean zero, photos of my time with Bakery Music. With my next venture after Bakery, a TV show call Dreamchaser, I vowed not to make the same mistake again – hence taking up photography as a hobby to capture my travels around Thailand & beyond.

Traveling on a motorcycle with limited space I knew I needed something small & being a novice I didn’t want to get something expensive so I started off with a cheap point-and-shoot digicam. Now I’m using a Canon S90, still small but highly effective: all photos in this exhibition were taken with it.

What started off as a hobby developed into a passion, hence sparking me to create this exhibition. Simply put, the photos in this exhibition reflects what I’ve been up to for the past 5 years after leaving the music business… Sukie

Sukie Kamol Sukosol Clapp is a former music founder of Thai record label, Bakery Music. The label is the pioneer of the independent music industry in the 1990s, being the most successful of its time, and inspiring the creation of many other indie labels.In 2007, Sukie translated his next passion into ” Dreamchaser” an unconventional travel/documentary show for Thai television focused on a man, a motorcycle, and his search for inspiring people and experiences in various destinations in Thailand and Laos. Their second season in 2008 took them from Bangkok to Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, and back home. The documentary focused on people for whom fulfillment of their dream has become their number one goal.

Suchao’s paintings were inspired by his life and surroundings. With freestyle lining and minimal coloring, Suchao executed his paintings with thick paints to create texture.
